SPARK INITIATIVE: FIRST BANK AVENUE TO BETTER CUSTOMERS' LIVES
In a bid to better the lives of First Bank customers in particular and residents in general, First Bank has through its spark initiative benefited the lives of people especially in the areas of health, education, sport and social reim as a means of giving back to society.
First Bank Agent, Mrs Tosin Ajayi revealed this in a documentary shown to stakeholders and journalists at Twinkles lounge at Abule Egba to commemorate 125 years anniversary of the Bank.
She added that First Bank has over 16million customers with over 200 locations with 7km direction in every location saying that it has the largest shares of 5.3 billion.
"Baby Ijeoma is one of the beneficiaries nominated through the spark initiative Platform. She had a heart problem in which her parents could not afford a sum of 4million naira to save her life.But, through the initiative, First Bank took charge, she was taken to India and her life was saved in partnership with Vama Foundation, and many others", Ajayi said.
According to her 28 buses were purchased and distributed to Secondary schools and higher institutions adding that Ikoyi Golf club is also a beneficiary and lives of a lot of people have been positively affected
She enjoined customers to continue with the trust they have as First Bank would not relent in its efforts to make lives comfortable for its customers.
Head of Media & External Relation/Corporate Responsibility &Sustainability, Mr lsmail Omamegbe, Senior Marketing Services, Media&External Relations/Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, Mr Kehinde Taiwo are also in attendance.
