Bandits attack: Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic suspends academic activities
The management of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria in Kaduna State on Thursday announced the indefinite suspension of academic activities following the attack on the institution by suspected bandits.
Mallam Mahmud Kwarbai, Information and Protocol Officer of the Institution made this known in a statement on Friday.
It had been reported that suspected bandits attacked the Polytechnic, killed one student, abducted two staff and other students.
Kwarbai said the attack had created serious tension among the students, hence the indefinite suspension of academic activities at the institution.
The institution’s Information Officer noted that students had been directed to vacate the institution immediately.
He, however, said IJMB students were excluded as their external examination conducted by Ahmadu Bello University, would commence on June 15.
