OGUN TO COMMEMORATE 2021 PUBLIC SERVICE DAY
In line with the United Nations’ General Assembly proclamation, the Ogun State Government has outlined activities to commemorate the year 2021 Public Service Day beginning from Monday, 21 through Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
A release by the State Head of Service, Alhaja Selimot Ottun, indicated that a diagnostic programme tagged, ‘Know Your Health Status’ will kick-start the 3-day commemorative activities at the Arcade Ground, Governor’s Office, Abeokuta, from 10.00a.m. on Monday, June 21.
Football matches will hold on Tuesday, June 22 at the M.K.O. Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, by 2.00p.m. for the female team and 4.00p.m. for the male team, while the grand finale, the Public Service Day Lecture is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 23 at the Obas’ Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta at 11.a.m.
The release enjoined all Public Servants to participate actively in all the activities lined up for the celebration and be seated at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the events, as attendance will be regarded as part of official duties.
