Council opens Senator Tinubu health centre
Chairman of Surulere Local Government Area, Lagos, Tajudeen Ajide, has opened a Senator Oluremi Tinubu Primary Health Care Centre in Akerele.
He also inaugurated the newly constructed Raji Fashola Magistrate Court and some roads.
According to Ajide, the health centre ranked as one of the best in the country.
He said he was named after Senator Oluremi Tinubu due to her kind gesture and good spirit towards the people of Surulere.
“We also named the Magistrate Court after the Minister for Works and Housing in recognition of his giant strides in the ministry,” he said.
Former Chairman of Lagos State Hospitals Management Board Dr. Naheem Ekemode commended Ajide’s efforts in developing Surulere.
He described Surulere as an extension of Lagos Island.
Former Lagos State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker Prince RAB Fashina applauded Ajide for his achievements.
The Baale of Majolate, High Chief Kamaldeen Hassan, appreciated Ajide and prayed for him.
