Gunmen kidnap Sunday Igboho’s wife, several others
The wife of Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has been kidnapped by the gunmen who attacked his house on Thursday morning.
The leader of Yoruba self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, Professor Banji Akintoye, disclosed this in a statement titled, ‘Yoruba Nation: Elements of the Nigerian Army, accompanied by international terrorists hired by the Nigerian State attacked Sunday Ighoho’s residence – Akintoye.’
The statement was made available to newsmen by Akintoye’s Communications Manager, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye.

The statement read in part, “The assailants were all dressed in military uniform and spoke French language fluently.
“The gunmen killed seven occupants in the building and whisked Igboho’s wife and several others away.”
It will be recalled that this is coming less than 72 hours before the planned mega rally in Lagos State, which will be attended by Akintoye and Igboho.
A yet-to-be-identified gunmen had attacked the Soka Ibadan residence of Igboho.
Details of the incident are still sketchy as the State Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Ayo, was unable to take calls.
