 OGUN TO EXPERIENCE IMPROVED DELIVERY OUTCOMES

          In its commitment to improve the general delivery of outcomes across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government, the Ogun State Special Adviser and Head of Government Delivery Unit (GDU), Mr. Lekan Onamusi , has assured that strategic input of the unit will improve efficiency across MDA’s in the State.

       

   Onamusi stated this in Abeokuta at a press conference, explaining that GDU was set up by an Executive order of Prince Dapo-Abiodun  with a mandate to take high level responsibility for all State government initiatives, Economic programs and Projects to ensure efficiency across the value chain.

          “In approaching these tasks, GDU is expected to design, develop and implement frameworks around needed project goals and objectives, to harness the activities of all Project stakeholders from inception, through planning, execution and delivery, while highlighting Potential Projects risk and ensuring adequate monitoring safeguards are put in place“, he said.

          The Unit Head added that with the strategic input of GDU, institutional failures could be controlled, abandoned projects limited, block leakages, and improve efficiency, across all delivery outputs in the State, pointing out that its activities would revolve mostly around the ISEYA mantra of the Present administration.
