100 DAYS IN OFFICE: IKENNE LG INAUGURATES PROJECTS
Inaguration of various projects by the leadership of Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, under the chairmanship of Hon. Segun Ogunseye, has been described as a development that would reinvigorate the area and position it for greater achievements.
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, stated this during the commissioning of Eight Lock-up Shops in Imobido Street, Iperu-Remo, Ikenne, and the commissioning of a block of 20 open stalls to commemorate the 100-days in office of the council Chairman, saying financing people-oriented projects with Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) would engender more support from the citizens of the area.
In his speech, the Chairman, Hon. Segun Ogunseye while appreciating the present administration in the State for its support, assured that with an improved IGR and grants from the government, the council would deliver more people-oriented projects,
“We were at Idotun, Ikenne, for the flag-off of a new market, and the commissioning of a block of 20 open stalls. Both projects will boost trade and commerce, as well as increase our IGR”, Ogunseye noted.
