Actress Toyin Adewale celebrates son, Mayorkun on his birthday

Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale, has taken to social media to celebrate her son and famous singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel professionally known as Mayorkun on his birthday.

The poet, literary critic cum actress took to her Instagram page to share a video of Mayorkun who turns 28 today, March 23, 2022.

The doting mother in her post was full of joy as she showered praises on her son.

She thanked him for remaining humble despite the fame of being a musician.

She wrote: “Happy birthday my big baby! Oluwamayowa……. you know I’m very proud of you and it’s comforting to me that while you receive accolades and recognition for all your hard work and consistency, you still retain your humility, kindness, and haven’t lost sense of who you are.

It is my greatest wish for you (and your siblings) to achieve success, contentment, and fulfillment of all your dreams, and I hope that your birthday signals a series of marvellous things that are about to unfold in your life. 🙏🏽🎂🎁🎈🍾🍷🥂🎉🎊

Mayorkun was born on 23 March 1994 in Osun State, Nigeria.

He is the first child of three, born into a family of entertainers.

He was part of the choir at a very young age where according to him, he “learnt the rudiments of music”.

Mayorkun has a degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and was working as a banker, before he delved into music 2016.
