Obasanjo Warns Nigerian Youths, APC Members Among Tinubu’s Detractors- NWC VC
Nigeria’s former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has urged the Nigerian youths not to abandon Nigeria in the hands of those that will mess it up.
Obasanjo spoke at the empowerment programme tagged “OBJ @85: Free Keke Programme,” where 85 tricycles were handed over to 85 beneficiaries picked across the country, as part of activities marking his 85th birthday, held at OOPL on Saturday, in Abeokuta.
The empowerment tools donated through the Youth Development Centre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL).
He submitted that many opportunities are abound in Nigeria, despite all the numerous challenges battling the country, while calling on them to contribute their quota in finding solutions to the problems.
APC Members Among Tinubu’s Detractors- NWC Vice-chair
The National Vice Chairman (North-West) of All Progressives Congress, Mallam Salihu Lukman, says the noise over a perceived Muslim-Muslim ticket is a ploy to distract the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
This is even as the member of the National Working Committee disclosed that he was not surprised to find party members among those demonising Tinubu over fear that he could settle for a Muslim running mate.
Lukman, who expressed his concerns in a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday, noted that he has witnessed a similar scenario played out during the build-up to the presidential primary held at Eagle Square.
Yahaya Bello Vows To Mobilize Youths For Tinubu’s Victory
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has pledged to mobilise youths for the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer Bola Tinubu.
He made the pledge on Friday when the former Lagos state governor visited him in Abuja.
