“No water, no food for a week” – Actress Cynthia Okereke narrates ordeal in kidnapper’s den
In the hours following the release of her and her colleague Clemson Cornel from their captors, veteran actress Cynthia Okereke has spoken out about her experience in the kidnapper's den.
Recall that the two actors were recently held prisoner as they left a shoot in Enugu State.
Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) announced their release, saying that the kidnappers, who had sought a $100,000 ransom, had changed their minds after being touched by God.
Cynthia Okereke broke her silence in a video that has been making the rounds on social media and thanked the supporters, security services, co-workers, and other stakeholders that helped with their release. The actress appreciated everyone for their prayers and encouragement.
She claims that during their seven days of imprisonment, they were not given any food or water.
