Beggar arrested for sexually exploiting three minors

A 25-year-old beggar identified as Abubakar Hussaini has been apprehended for sexually exploiting three minor girls.
According to Hussaini who is handicapped and engaged in alms begging within the Minna metropolis said that the three underaged girls who were hawkers had met him for monetary assistance and he demanded having sex with them in return.
According to him, he gives the girls N1,000 each after each sexual intercourse with them which usually takes place behind the Zarumai Model School in Minna.
The suspect disclosed that he had been having a sexual relationship with the girls since September this year.
It was gathered that the girls were between the ages of 12 years to 14 years.
The suspect was reported to the State Criminal Investigation Department by the Niger State Child Rights Agency for investigation where he confessed to the crime during interrogation.
The girls are currently undergoing rehabilitation, counseling, and medical attention under the Agency, while the suspect has been arraigned before the court for prosecution.
