OGSG LAUDS ACCESS BANK ON N30MILLION WORTH SCHOOL INTERVENTION

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary and Secondary Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo, has lauded the Conduct and Compliance Group of Access Bank on its 30 Million naira worth school intervention project, to complement government effort on provision of conducive and attractive teaching and learning environment.


Mrs. Soyombo said this during the commissioning of the newly constructed four classrooms block, at Zion African Church Secondary School Ã’tun in Akute, saying the project would enable the students have access to a safe and conducive learning environment.


The Governor's aide affirmed that government was committed to providing quality education, design engaging curriculums and nurture the talents and potential of every child, saying education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also to shape compassionate individuals, who would contribute meaningfully to the society and impact the world positively.


"Your selflessness has demonstrated the immense power that lies within the hands of humanity to uplift and transform lives. Your contribution has not only laid a solid foundation but also ignited a spark of inspiration that will continue to kindle the flame of progress for generations to come", she said.


Speaking, the Chairman, Conduct and Compliance Committee of Access Bank, Mr. Babatunde Aro, appreciated Prince Dapo Abiodun’s government on its cooperation in ensuring the completion of the project, promising continued contribution to ensure further advance the education sector.


Earlier, the school Principal, Mrs. Caroline Dada, described the development as historical in the community, noting that it was a gesture, worthy of emulation.


Responding on behalf of other students, Miss Rita Okeke, appreciated government and Access Bank group for constructing the new classroom to ease over-crowding and ensure effective teaching and learning.
