GLO PARTNERS WITH OYRTMA TO REVOLUTIONIZE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN OYO STATE

The Oyo State Government has entered a strategic partnership with telecommunications giant Globacom to develop cutting-edge traffic management solutions. This collaboration, involving the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), seeks to enhance road safety, streamline traffic flow, and improve urban mobility across the state.

At the launch of the partnership, Governor Seyi Makinde, represented by his Chief of Staff, Chief Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, highlighted the importance of leveraging technology for efficient traffic systems, stating, "As our cities grow and our economy expands, innovative solutions are crucial for ensuring road safety and seamless urban mobility."

OYRTMA Chairman, Major Adesagba Adekoya (Rtd), commended Globacom's technological expertise, expressing confidence in its ability to deliver transformative results. Globacom’s Enterprise Business Lead, Adeniyi Odejobi, reiterated the company's commitment to empowering OYRTMA with smart, digital tools for a seamless traffic management system.

Additionally, the event introduced OYRTMA staff to MoneyMaster PSB, a financial services provider offering innovative digital products. MoneyMaster’s representative, Inusa Bello, emphasized their mission to enhance financial inclusion through customer-focused initiatives such as data bonuses and seamless connectivity.

This partnership marks a significant step in Oyo State's journey toward a smarter, technology-driven traffic management framework.
