Youth engagement: Seyi Tinubu in Yobe for Renewed Hope Initiative
The son of Nigeria’s president, Seyi Tinubu, visited Yobe State weekend alongside the Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande.
Seyi, who initially paid homage to the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin Elkanemi, also paid a courtesy visit to the state governor, Mai Mala Buni, to strengthen collaboration for a brighter future.
He later proceeded to engage with the youth of the state at an event held at the banquet hall of the Government House, Damaturu.
Comrade Olawande in a short speech, stated Tinubu administration’s commitment to youth development and stressed that they have numerous initiatives tailored for young people.
“As the Minister of Youth Development, we’re dedicated to ensuring these initiatives reach Yobe state,” he said.
Mr. Seyi’s engagement with the youth and young stakeholders in the state was to foster discussions on youth empowerment and national development.
The Renewed Hope Youth Empowerment (RHYE) initiative and Iftar program provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and connection with the youth of Yobe.
